Study Desks for Teen and Children's Rooms
A study desk enters the children's room with school and becomes the surface where much of the day is spent in a teen room. Homework, reading, the computer and hobbies all meet at the same desk. That is why the desk's position defines the most used corner of the room. Varalli has 14 study desks, all tied to a collection.
Puglia, Salina, Valencia, Montera and Calvi list teen and children's desks as separate products, while Pylos has the Pylos Study Desk and the Pylos Children's Study Desk. The Portofino Study Desk and the Formentor Teen Study Desk represent their collections on this page. When the desk is chosen from the same collection as the rest of the room, Montera's champagne-toned language or Calvi's cream and walnut simplicity continues throughout. Because the desks are made to the size of the space in our workshop, the width is set by the wall they will stand against.
A desk that stays just a surface soon fills with books and papers. Planning a bookcase or shelf nearby, outlets for cables and a good chair keeps the desktop free for work. Study chairs are on the chairs and armchairs page, and bookcases on the wardrobes and storage page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a children's study desk and a teen study desk?
They are listed as separate products in the collections. A children's desk is conceived for a smaller user, while a teen desk is designed for a teenager whose load of homework, computer work and reading has grown. Exact dimensions are set according to the room and the user.
Is the study desk made to measure?
Yes. The desks are made to the size of the space in our Modoko workshop in Ümraniye, and the finish and color are decided for each project. Assessing the wall where the desk will stand, the window and the outlets together during measuring gives the best result.
Where should the study desk go in the room?
A wall that receives daylight from the side is usually the most comfortable spot. At a desk with its back to the window the screen catches glare, and at a desk directly facing the window the light can be dazzling. Our lighting article looks separately at the balance of light in a work area.
How can I find out the price of a study desk?
We do not have a fixed price list. Send us your desk and chair selection along with the room dimensions on WhatsApp and we will prepare a quote. If you would like to see samples, you can book an appointment at the Modoko showroom.
