Teen and Children's Room Tables
In a children's room, a table is mostly for play: a surface at the child's height for coloring, puzzles and board games. In a teen room, a small side table next to the bed or an armchair is useful for books, a glass and a lamp. Varalli has 11 products on this page: play tables, teen room side tables and the Portofino Nursery Side Table.
Play tables are found in the Rovello, Puglia, Salina, Valencia, Montera, Pylos and Calvi collections. Side tables appear in the teen lines of Rovello, Montera and Calvi, and in Portofino for the nursery. Choosing the table from the same collection used for the rest of the room keeps a small piece from looking out of place.
The products are made to the size of the space in our Modoko workshop in Ümraniye, and the finish and color are decided for each project. Placing the play table on the open floor of the room, near daylight and away from the walkway, keeps play from spreading across the room. If you are looking for tables for the living room and seating area, see the coffee and side tables page under accent furniture, where the teen and nursery side tables are listed as well.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a play table and a study desk?
A play table is meant for free activities such as coloring, puzzles and board games, while a study desk is meant for homework and reading. At Varalli they are in separate groups, and the study desks are listed on their own page. As the child grows, the study desk can take the place of the play table.
Is there a side table for the teen room?
Yes. The Rovello Teen Side Table, the Montera Teen Side Table and the Calvi Teen Side Table are for the teen room. They can be used beside the bed in place of a nightstand, or next to an armchair.
Are the tables and play tables made to measure?
Yes. Tables and play tables are made to the dimensions of your space in our Modoko workshop in Ümraniye. Color and finish are settled in the project according to the room's collection.
How can I see the play tables and side tables?
You can see the samples at our showroom in Modoko by appointment. We do not have a fixed price list; share the model and dimensions on WhatsApp and we will prepare a quote.
