Since 1985 we have been bringing interior design, turnkey implementation and bespoke furniture production together under one roof for residential, villa and commercial projects in Istanbul. Our showroom, production workshop and design studio are in Modoko, Ümraniye.

Who is Varalli Interior?

Varalli Interior & Furniture is an interior design studio that runs interior design, made-to-measure furniture production and turnkey implementation in one team. Founded in 1985 by Hüsamettin Varal, Varalli today works from its showroom, design studio and production workshop in Modoko, Ümraniye.

How do we work?

We clarify a process that begins with a site survey and measurements through concept design, 3D visualization and technical drawings. We make the furniture in our own workshop to the dimensions of the space and manage the implementation with the same team. The reason we don’t separate design from production is simple: so that the decision made in the drawing is carried through exactly in the space.

Our projects

We share 40 projects with photos on our website: 12 villas, 18 residences and apartments, 4 offices and commercial spaces, 3 teen and children’s rooms, 2 cafes and restaurants, and 1 beauty salon and spa projects. Besides Istanbul, we have also worked on projects outside the city and abroad, in places such as Bodrum, Cyprus and Baghdad. You can browse them all on the Projects page.

A Design Culture Rooted in Experience

Varalli was founded in 1985 by Hüsamettin Varal. The family’s long history as tradespeople in Ümraniye is documented by the 25-year service certificate awarded to Hüsamettin Varal by Ümraniye Municipality. The Varalli name’s long-standing furniture and interiors activity in Modoko is also on record with Modoko’s 25th Year Certificate of Honor.

The design side of this experience is led by interior architect Onur Varal, a graduate of the Interior Architecture Bachelor’s Program at Işık University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Knowledge of materials and production meets interior architecture education at the same table. The decisions made in the drawing take concrete form, with their dimensions and details, in the Modoko showroom and workshop. Today this work continues under Varalli Interior Mimarlık Mühendislik Tasarım Hizmetleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, registered in 2024.

The journey of a project

Because design and production are under one roof, the process moves without interruption. Step by step, using the Aurea Villa as an example.

Discovery

The space is measured on site and daily habits are listened to. The first perspective sketches and the material direction come out of these meetings.

Design

Design decisions are settled with a material board, floor plans and 3D visualization. Every square meter is planned around the natural flow of life.

Documentation

Technical layers, facade details and construction sheets are prepared; production and the site speak the same language.

Production & Handover

Bespoke furniture is made in our production facilities in Modoko, installed on site, and the project is handed over turnkey.
