Bar Stools
A bar stool turns a kitchen island or bar counter into a surface you can sit at. It creates extra seating in the kitchen for breakfast, a quick meal or a conversation with a guest while food is being prepared. What sets it apart from a dining chair is its height: the seat level is set by the counter. Varalli has 13 bar stool models.
Seven collections include a bar stool in their kitchens: the Rovello Bar Stool, Puglia Bar Stool, Salina Bar Stool, Valencia Bar Stool, Montera Bar Stool, Pylos Bar Stool and Calvi Bar Stool. These are conceived in the same language as the collection's kitchen island. The Fiore, Leone, Marini, Moretti, Rinaldi and Romano bar stools can be chosen independently of any collection. The bar stools are made in our Modoko workshop in Ümraniye; fabric, finish and color are decided for each project. When choosing a bar stool, look at the difference between the counter height and the seat height; knees need to fit comfortably under the counter. The number of people who will sit at the island should be calculated together with the space left between the stools. A model with a backrest is more comfortable for longer sitting, while a backless model slides under the island more easily.

How is bar stool height determined?
The seat height is set by the height of the counter or island. There should be enough space between the counter and the seat for the knees to fit comfortably. This measurement is planned for the counter in your project, and the stools are made accordingly in our Modoko workshop in Ümraniye.
What is the difference between a bar stool and a dining chair?
The difference is height. A dining chair is designed for table height, while a bar stool is designed for the height of an island or bar counter. Dining chairs are on a separate page in the Dining Room section.
Which collections include a bar stool?
The kitchens of the Rovello, Puglia, Salina, Valencia, Montera, Pylos and Calvi collections include a bar stool. Fiore, Leone, Marini, Moretti, Rinaldi and Romano are models outside any collection.
